Center for Elaboration of Materials and Structural Studies (CNRS)
Experimental and theoretical studies of matter at the atomic and macroscopic level.

     Center for Air Navigation Studies (DGAC)
Research, studies and experimentation in air traffic management in a European environment.

European Center for Research and Advanced Training in Scientific Calculation
* 90 international engineers and researchers
* Development of new digital methods for the simulation of complex phenomena
* Provides high-performance calculation resources to the industrial and scientific community
* 6 main research areas: parallel algorithms, aerodynamics, combustion, climate and environment, data assimilation, and electromagnetism.

CERMAS  European Center for Research in Aerospace Managment (ESC Group Toulouse)
CERMAS collaborates with the master program in Air Transport Management (ENAC) and the Aerospace MBA program.
Inter-University Center for Research and  Engineering on Materials  (INP - CNRS - UPS)
Interdisciplinary research concerning all the major families of materials, from the design to studies of their behavior in service.

French Space Agency - Toulouse Space Center (CST)
Responsible for development and preparation of space projects, control of operational resources, research and technology.

National Meteorology Research Center (CNRM)  
* 240 permanent employees, of which 171 in Toulouse
* Experimental and digital approach to the atmosphere at all level (for operational forecasts, climate studies, applicative studies, etc.)  
Meteorogical Aviation Center (CNRM et Armée de l'Air)
Use od aircraft equipped to measure atmospheric phenomena:
* studies of wakes and turbulence  
* atmospheric physical and chemical processes      
* changes of states of atmospheric water  
* simulation in a hydrodynamic tunnel

 

National Scientific Research Center  
* 754 researchers and 707 Engineers, Technicians and Administratives
* The Midi-Pyrenean Delegation is made up of 82 operational research units, of which 8 Research Groups, and 6 international units. This organization covers 7 of the CNRS's scientific departments.
* Midi Pyrenes's research strength is concentrated primarily in the Toulouse metropolitan area, except for certain observation sites (Pic du Midi, Tarbes et Lannemezan), the technical platform of the ecology federation (Moulis - Ariège) and the ENSTIMAC combined unit.
* The leading disciplines are materias, process engineering, chemical engineering, electronics, information and communications sciences abd technologies, aeronautics and space.

DGA - CAP

Airborne Center of Toulouse (Center for expertise and tests of the DGA)
Contribtuion of expertise to program management teams, management and execution of all tests related to weapons studies and programs.
CAP is the French expert in airdrops and air transport.

DGA - CEG

Center for Studies of Gramat (Center for expertise and tests of the DGA)
Expertise in the comprehension of phenomena and their modeling, the digital simulation and the virtual experimentation.

National Institute for Agronomic Research
The Toulouse center is one of the 21 INRA regional Centers.

National Institute of Health and Medical Research
INSERM in Midi-Pyrenees has 7 units, a research center (CPTP) and an investigative clinic center (CIC). These laboratories are installed in Toulouse hospitals, particulary at Rangueil and Purpan University Hospitals, and are belong to three IFRs (Federative Research Institutes).
  Institute of IT Research of Toulouse 
IRIT is a joint research unit (UMR 5505), in common with the National Scientific Research Center (CNRS), the National Polytechnic Institute of Toulouse (INPT) and Paul Sabatier University (UPS). IRIT, created fifteen years ago, represents one of the highest  potentials in IT research in France, with 24 researchers and 181 instructor researchers,  from the above mentionned institutes as well as the University of Social Sciences (UT1) and the University of Toulouse Le Mirail (UTM)
 

Laboratory of Analysis and Architecture of Systems

  National Office for Aerospace Studies and Research 
* 420 people, including 280 engineers and research technicians and 90 engineering doctorate students.
* ONERA houses departments whose scientific activity meets needs in aeronautics, space and defense, expressed in particular through orientation committees for each discipline.

Technical Department for Air Navigation (DGAC)
*National Center and European interlocutor for the realization of equipments studies and programs for air navigation and air traffic control.
